Part of our summer schools programme, our Acting Summer School offers a wide range of acting masterclasses and workshops from screen acting to Shakespeare across five full days of tuition.
You will receive world class drama training from industry professionals all based in a Central London studio. Experience a broad range of acting techniques and build a solid foundation in different approaches to character, script analysis, movement, Meisner and Method. By the time you finish the course you will be able to deliver a convincing performance based on core techniques.
Acting Summer School course content
On our Acting Summer School you will:
- Work on stage acting techniques to help create characters, approaches to script, how to take direction in a scene and harnessing your imagination and creativity.
- Learn the intricate techniques needed to nail your performances to camera with the help of playback, professional analysis and performing a directed scene from a TV or film script.
- Gain confidence in your physicality. Develop a broad range of body language skills to give relaxed and truthful performances.
- Develop a broader vocal range with the help of voice safety techniques as well as work on control, volume and authority.
- Learn basic Stage Combat moves and how to practice them safely.
- Take part in improvisation sessions to develop your confidence and ignite your imagination.

Our acting coaches are all working, professional actors and directors who bring their own expertise and experience to classes giving you a full and well-rounded approach allowing you to establish effective techniques that work for you as an individual.
We firmly believe in the value of Acting and Drama Courses for developing life skills, irrespective of whether you want to pursue acting in a sustained way. Acting techniques are transferable to your working and social life enabling you to gain confidence and explore your imagination and creativity.
