Ballet Classes - Pointe Improvers

Our Ballet Classes - Pointe Improvers focuses on advancing and refining the skills you have already acquired on pointe. This course is designed for dancers who have already developed a foundational proficiency in pointe technique and are ready to progress with the expert guidance of our tutors. 

The course focuses on refining and advancing the skills you have already acquired on pointe and will enhance your ability to perform movements on pointe with increased strength, stability, and artistry.

BALLET CLASSES - POINTE IMPROVERS Content

In this Ballet class, you will:

• Continue to build strength in your feet and ankles
• Develop ankle mobility and flexibility
• Focus on turnout and alignment
• Transition from the barre to the centre
• Refine the articulation of your footwork whilst on pointe
• Explore expressiveness, artistry, musicality and quality of movement

Who is the course suitable for?

This course is for those who have previous experience dancing in Pointe shoes. We would recommend our Pointe classes for Beginners for anyone who has not danced in Pointe shoes before.

What to Bring?

Please bring both flat ballet shoes and pointe shoes to the class
 Please also bring your chosen form of foot preparation to ensure that your feet will be protected and comfortable in your shoes for the duration of the class.

Also please remember to bring ribbon and elastic. With Pointe classes it is important to look after your feet; we recommend purchasing some of the following: animal wool, ouch pouches, toe pads and tape.
