Continue perfecting the best ballets on the stage. Over the course of five days, you will embark on a classical ballet journey that will expand and enrich your classical ballet knowledge. A daily ballet class will be taught in which you will refresh and build on your knowledge of classical ballet terminology and positions of the feet and arms. The tutor will set out structured and technical exercises at a pace suitable for the entire class. Our professionally trained tutors will guide you through to ensure safe practice while having fun.
After this intensive course, you will be able to continue and improve upon your classical ballet dancer journey with more confidence and a stronger foundation while becoming more proficient. For those with 1-2 year’s and more experience.
OUR APPROACH
You will also have body conditioning classes to assist in warming up the muscles and reinforce what you learn in ballet class. Body conditioning will set you on a path to supporting your technique making you stronger and more aware of your body and alignment.
Iconic ballet repertoire such as, Swan Lake, Giselle and Sleeping Beauty will be rehearsed and shared in a mini studio performance at the end of the week you giving you a taste of the professional dance world.

All City Academy tutors are experienced professionals from theatre, film/TV and performance industries. So whilst they're training you they may also be rehearsing for a West End show or working on a movie. We like that and we do believe it makes a difference in class.
