About City Academy
Formed in 2007, City Academy started small: one venue and a small group of performing art students.
From there, we have grown to offer 50+ open courses daily for the adult public across London, in addition to our suite of communication skills courses and team building experiences.
Our new Central London flagship venue – 10 Herbal Hill – opened in January 2023. It has 12 professional studios, meeting rooms and rehearsal spaces with a large rooftop terrace.
Starting out with three classes in acting, singing and dancing, today City Academy operates 50 courses and experiences every day across London, partner venues, in client offices and online. Subjects range from Life Drawing to Voice Training to Street Dance, and much more. Now firmly established in the arts training sphere, our annual student intake has risen from 300 students to 30,000 in 14 years.
As City Academy has grown, one constant has emerged – interest from businesses in adapting our courses for the corporate world. And that’s where City Academy for Business comes in, offering business-focused versions of our bestselling courses aimed at strengthening your business through the arts.
