Commercial Dance Performance Course

Yes – this is a performance-focused course, so some prior dance experience is required. You don’t need to be a professional, but you should be comfortable picking up choreography at a moderate pace and have a basic understanding of movement and rhythm.

This course focuses on commercial dance, a vibrant mix of styles often seen in music videos, adverts, and live stage performances. You’ll explore choreography inspired by top artists and current industry trends.

Please bring a water bottle, towel, notepad, and something to film yourself with (to help you rehearse at home). Knee pads are optional but recommended for floorwork.

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in and trainers or dance sneakers with good support. Clothing should allow for full movement and expression.

Yes – you’ll be joining our Commercial Dance Company for the full 8 weeks of rehearsals. This group is made up of passionate, experienced dancers who are incredibly welcoming and supportive. You’ll be working alongside them each week to learn, refine, and rehearse a dynamic routine together, culminating in a live performance on stage. It’s a brilliant opportunity to train in a company-style setting while growing your confidence and performance skills.
