Our Creative Writing Summer School will kick-start your creative writing, whether you have an existing idea that you would like to develop or you’re still looking for inspiration. Absolute beginners are welcome as well as those with some experience looking to refine their writing process.
Over five days you will take part in a variety of workshops led by industry experts across different writing formats such as playwriting, screenwriting, writing for children, prose and poetry.
There will be opportunities to share your work with the group and receive tailored individual feedback from tutors. Delivered in a Central London studio, our creative writing short course will equip you with the practical tools to kick start your writing.
Our Summer School programme takes place through the months of June - September. If you would like to study as part of a Writing Intensive course outside of these months, you can find details of the five-day intensive course that takes place all year round HERE.

City Academy tutors are experienced artists and performers that work in the industry. If your tutor's availability changes at short notice, our team will arrange for a suitable replacement and notify you in advance.
CANCELLATIONS POLICY
We offer a full refund or full credit of your original course if you cancel at least 72 hours before the start of your booking.
We cannot offer any refund if you cancel less than 72 hours before the start of your booking, or if you do not attend.

All City Academy tutors are experienced professionals from theatre, film/TV and performance industries. So whilst they're training you they may also be rehearsing for a West End show or working on a movie. We like that and we do believe it makes a difference in class.
