Write, shoot and direct your own film with our five-day Filmmaking School. Learn the fundamentals of filmmaking and be guided through the whole filmmaking process, from storyboarding to editing.
Looking at industry examples, from indie to blockbuster films, you will get a thorough understanding of different genres and the various skills needed to create a film from scratch. At the end of the course you will have collaborated on writing, directing and editing a film that you will get to take home.

- Storyboard your film, learning to develop a story

Filmmaking School Schedule
DAY ONE
Our five-day course will kick off with an introduction to the world of film production. Learning about cameras and lenses, lighting and sound. As well as moving camera kit and techniques.
DAY TWO
Day two will take you into the realm of filming. How to film a scene, job roles, angles, crossing the line, cheating the room and working with actors.
DAY THREE
On day three you will work on script structure, storyboards, shot lists and budgeting. You will write your script in a team. You will work on pre production for your shoot.
DAY FOUR
You will spend the day filming your team’s script working with our actors.
DAY FIVE
On the final day of the course, you will be editing your film. You will also learn about screenings and your film future, next film and film festivals.
Your Film
At the end of our course you will take away a film that you have written, directed and edited.
