Originating in Africa, but taking on Portuguese and Tango influences, Kizomba is an exciting Afro-Latin mix. This sensual partner dance is characterised by slow and romantic rhythms and turns.
Our Kizomba Dance Workshop is fun introduction to Kizomba and is suitable for all levels of dancer, whether you are new to Latin dance or an experienced dancer looking to explore a new style.
Kizomba Dance Workshop Content
Although dance workshops content may differ depending on the group, class content generally includes:
- Introduction and warm up
- Learning the fundamental steps of Kizomba
- Partner work: putting the steps learnt into practice
- Music interpretation and practice

No Venue
All City Academy tutors are experienced professionals from theatre, film/TV and performance industries. So whilst they're training you they may also be rehearsing for a West End show or working on a movie. We like that and we do believe it makes a difference in class.
