Our Latin Ballroom Dance masterclass is a fun balanced workshop where you'll spend half the session learning Latin Ballroom technique before putting this into practice in a playful and energetic choreographed Latin routine.
This class is perfect for ballroom dancers of all levels who wish to refine their Latin dance skills in a fun-focused technical workshop. You will refresh Latin steps, improve and experiment with connection types, before putting the steps to music in the choreography.
The sessions are highly social. Whether you sign-up as an individual, with a partner, or with a group of friends, it’s a great opportunity to meet new people whilst learning something new.
Workshop Content
During the workshop you will:
- Cover and refine Latin steps
- Work on Cuban Action: using your hips in Latin dancing
- Push & Pull: experiment with connection types
- Learn playful Ballroom choreography to dynamic and exciting music
- Add flair and expression to your dancing
- Work on your Latin and Ballroom technique
As with all of our ballroom dancing lesssons, you will receive friendly feedback from your tutor throughout the workshop.

All City Academy tutors are experienced professionals from theatre, film/TV and performance industries. So whilst they're training you they may also be rehearsing for a West End show or working on a movie. We like that and we do believe it makes a difference in class.
