City Academy Collective Choir presents: Requiem
Introducing the gallery highlights from 'Requiem' - the summer show presented by City Academy's wonderful Voices Choir.
Requiem was held at the prestigious at St Giles Cripplegate Church in London. Congratulations to them for a fantastic show, and farewell and thank you to wonderful choir director Doug Hansell, who leaves to join the Come From Away Musical tour in Australia.

City Academy Choirs
As part of our Singing & Music Department, City Academy Choirs are some of the most exciting vocal ensembles in London, and welcome singers to join them throughout the year. These groups are perfect if you want to sing with friends, or get involved in a brand-new social activity.
We have six choirs: three mixed-repertoire choirs (Voices, Singers and Vox), a pop and indie choir (Amplified), a musical theatre choir (Encore) and a ladies-only mixed-repertoire choir (Songbirds). All choirs rehearse weekly and perform throughout the year.
The City Academy Voices Choir sing a wide variety of musical styles including gospel, soul, pop, jazz and musical theatre.
City Academy Singing & Music Department
As one of London's leading singing schools, City Academy's Singing & Music Department offers students the opportunity to study singing at a variety of levels, enjoy a challenge and gain new skills. Our range of singing courses are evening, weekend, weekday or part-time courses from beginners to advanced levels.
Opportunities for our adult students include: Jazz & Blues Singing, Pop & Rock Singing, Opera, Musical Theatre, Soul & Gospel, as well as skills based courses such as Mic Technique and Songwriting. Regular performance opportunities are available for students at London's top venues, particularly for members of our six Choirs.
The department is headed up by London-based singer Bernadette Bishop, and each choir is headed up by professional Musical Directors from across the professional spectrum of music including the West End, pop charts, and more.
