City Academy is kicking off an action-packed weekend in association with Old Spitalfields Market and the East End Film Festival.
As part of this year's diverse programme of free international premieres, pop-up screenings, industry masterclasses, and immersive live events, we’ll be at Spitalfields hosting our own star-studded line-up of activities - from 1.00 pm Friday 2nd June and from 1.00 pm Saturday 3rd June.
If you’re a film buff or just out and about, pop in, say hi and try out something new with one of our free creative and performing arts workshops. We’ll be teaching routines to classic musical films such as La La Land and West Side Story, and there will be choreographed performances before each screening.
For those interested in learning cinematic performance techniques, we’ll deliver a Screen Acting crash course and hold a voice training clinic. The activities on offer are drop-in and everyone is welcome to join in and enjoy the fun. Be part of the cultural scene, see what’s on offer at East London’s annual film jamboree, and don’t forget to get your best impressions ready for the Momentous Movie Moments Challenge - it’s the stuff legends are made of!
