I joined the City Academy Singers because I was looking for something that was fun, good for socialising and good for my wellbeing. There’s something profound about harmonizing when singing with other people, it feels kind of spiritual. I enjoy the choir so much more than going to the gym. My work can be quite stressful, so anything that helps improve my sleep and overall wellbeing is great.
