Designed for those who already have some experience of Screen Acting.
Our Screen Acting Courses - Level 2 will consolidate the skills you gained in Screen Acting - Level 1 or a course of an equivalent level.
Work on challenging and demanding scripts requiring character background work enabling you to gain deeper technique and skills to obtain truthful emotions and create believable characters. Explore and understand your screen persona and casting possibilities.
You will work on a selection of TV and Feature film published scripts. They will be duologues and group scenes. You will explore techniques in developing character and learn how to work effectively with a director on set to achieve the desired performance.
Screen Acting Courses - Level 2 Content
Over the duration of this course you will:
- Explore the nuances of your performance for the screen.
- View, discuss and analysis performances with your Tutor.
- Work on scripts from TV and film with playback and feedback.
- Receive duologues in advance so that you can be off-book for classes and concentrate on perfecting your performance.
- Gain an understanding of genre: short film, TV drama, TV soap, cinema.
- Consider character, blocking, marks, continuity, sound and physicality for Screen.

All filming will be watched in class and you will receive notes from your tutor in class as this is more beneficial to your development. It ensures that everyone feels free to explore and engage without the concern of scenes being publicly viewed.
