With Shadow, you can captivate audiences in front of the camera. Create an ensemble based short film written by a new London writer and see you work come to life by attending a premier of the movie.

IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA: ACTOR
- A 6 week acting experience finishing in a professional short film shoot.
- You will work with an award winning director, writer and acting coach during the experience.
- You will delve deep into your characters and rehearse with your coach until the shoot begins.
- When on set you will be working with a full professional crew who will all have vast experience in their departments on set.
- The end product will be an ensemble, gritty and important short film.
- This experience will allow you to get your teeth into a role with depth, integrity and fantastic performance opportunities.
How long is this experience?
This is a 6 week experience.
Entry requirements:
Actor places require an audition and intermediate level acting experience.
What to bring
A notebook and pen for actors. Wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in.

When her family embark on the heart wrenching search for her, they'll face a society where girls like Zara are just not meant to be found.
THE AUDITION PROCESS
Audition for free by submitting a short video and receive feedback on your audition.
Places for this experience will fill up so we recommend sending in your audition video as soon as possible.
Your audition video should be no longer than 3 minutes and should start with you saying your full name followed by a short monologue or alternatively a scene performed with another person off camera.
Feel free to use any written scene you like from a play, TV or film script or something you've written yourself.
This is an opportunity for you to express yourself creatively and for our casting director to assess your suitability to the short film roles. Have fun with it!

SCHEDULE
PRE EXPERIENCE
Submit a video audition to get cast by our director, producers and writer then be assigned your role in the ensemble based movie
WEEK ONE
Immerse yourself in a 2 day table read with the writer and script editor then start exploring your characters
WEEK TWO-FIVE
Enjoy an intensive rehearsal period with a skilled, industry acting coach and start blocking for your film
SHOOT WEEK
Work on a 5 day shoot of your short film with a range of crew members exactly as it would be in the industry itself
POST PRODUCTION
Attend a premiere of your film in which you can invite friends, family, agents and creatives and see your work come to life

Our Approach
We take a practical and experiential approach to performance. You’ll have the opportunity to work with top teaching talent as they guide you to find truth in your performance and tell stories that matter to you.
Voice and movement classes will train you to master your faculties and find freedom in your speech and physicality.
A strong focus on the teachings of Sanford Meisner and Konstantin Stanislavski will provide you with the tools needed to confidently approach any text with truth and believable meaningful actions.
Actors will be able to learn and apply these techniques to Modern scenes for the Short Film and Showreel projects.
