Tap Dancing is a creative and spontaneous dance that thrives off it’s own rhythms and sounds. If you’ve always wanted to try it – our Beginner’s Tap Dance Taster classes are a great place to tap on in.
Tap Dance Taster Classes Content
Learn the basic steps while getting a flavour for the tap dance class:
- Understand posture and awareness of your body in space
- Demonstrate how to isolate parts of the body to define a movement
- Develop basic co-ordination of your arms, feet and head
- Take part in a warm up and cool down led by an industry Tap expert
- Join of community of Tap Dance newbies
Please note: you do not need tap shoes to attend this Taster, however, if you own a pair, please do bring them along. If you decide to sign up for our Beginners course, tap shoes are required. You can buy tap shoes here. Read more on what to wear to a Tap class here.
