Adam Pettigrew

Adam Pettigrew trained at the BRIT School before completing a degree in BA (Hons) Musical Theatre at the prestigious Arts Educational Schools.

Adam made his West End debut in the hit musical Wicked, starring in the role of ‘Boq’ at the Apollo Theatre. From this, Adam was then offered the lead in Sir Cameron Mackintosh’s touring production of Avenue Q, performing at renowned venues across the UK.

His credits include, Oh What A Lovely War (Haymarket Theatre), Christmas in New York (Lyric Theatre, London) and Peter Pan (Ashcroft Theatre), and Adam also appeared in the Disney film Muppets Most Wanted.

As a musical theatre tutor, Adam teaches a range of Musical Theatre classes at City Academy – working with students of all abilities – and aims to create a fun and supportive atmosphere for his students.

He enjoys helping students improve their vocal technique, and watching them discover and develop new skills.
