Briar Adams

Briar is a graduate of the National Theatre Ballet School in Australia and has worked professionally in Ballet, Music and Opera in the UK since 2009. Her pedagogical practice is informed by functional anatomy and contemporary dance, with a strong foundation in Cecchetti, Vaganova, and Equal Weight (Maggie Black) methods. 

She is the founder and director of HackBallet and is a passionate advocate for inclusive access, neurodiversity and body positivity in ballet. Briar is excited to share her deep learning approach with dedicated adult dancers who embrace and celebrate lifelong learning.
