Dani K

Dani is originally from the French Indian Ocean island Mayotte & the Comoros Islands, Dani grew to be one of the main popular London salsa instructors as well as a respected choreographer, performer and DJ, nationally and internationally. His most recent Choreography with his dance partner Sarah Rowe has been recognised by Britain Got Talent and likes and shared by thousands all over the world on social media. Dani K has contributed to City Academy’s Salsa syllabus, training teachers to make sure all our students get the best experience from their learning journeys.

Jo McCaffrey

Jo began her salsa journey as a student of City Academy in 2017, starting as a beginner and soon discovering a love for Latin dance, Latin music and the rich traditions and cultures that surround them. She is a vocal advocate for the power of learning to dance as an adult, without having had any formal training earlier in life.

Jo specialises in social dancing and has become an advanced follower who dances regularly in both London and New York. She teaches Beginners and Improvers levels for City Academy with a focus on solid technical fundamentals, having as much fun as possible, and embracing the joy that creativity and connecting with others can bring to everyday life.
