Dani K

Dani K is the head of the Salsa department at City Academy. He is the main creator of the City Academy’s Salsa syllabus, as well as teacher training, to ensure all the students get the best experience from their learning journeys. 

Originally from the French Indian Ocean islands Mayotte and the Comoros Islands, Dani grew to be one of the most popular London salsa instructors and a respected choreographer, performer, and DJ nationally and internationally. His most recent choreography with his dance partner Sarah Rowe (one of our Salsa instructors) has been recognised by Britain Got Talent and shared by thousands all over the world on social media.

His classes and workshops specialised in connection, musicality and partner work techniques. These are drawn from other dances such as street dance, New York -Cuban & LA salsa style which are friendly and fun to learn.

Dani K, is also the founder & director of ALCADANZ, a UK awards winner for Best UK Promotion Company, and the Choreographer of OTRADANZ. He is also an award winner for Best UK Salsa Performer, as well as Best UK Club Night (Sabor), and runner up for Best UK Tropical DJ.
