Heather trained at RADA and works as a director, writer and actor. Earlier this year Heather was assistant director on Robert Icke’s Animal Farm and in 2019 Heather directed Earthquakes In London at Oval House.
Other assistant roles include, work with director James Blakey (Public Acts, The National Theatre) on Band Solo & A Romantic Comedy for Shoreditch Town Hall. Heather’s work as an actor includes, Master’s of Love, Truck Films dir. Matt Roberts, Mr Winner for BBC 1, dir. Ben Palmer, The Mitford’s, (national tour) Soho Young Playwrights (Soho Theatre) dir. Charlotte Bennett, Solo (The Bush), dir. Jack Lowe, Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, dir. Charlotte Bennett. Heather’s audio work includes, Something Understood, BBC Radio 4, voicing Princess Diana in, Diana In Her Own Words for Channel 4 and over fifty audio books. Heather wrote, directed and features in her comedy web series, Slipped Disco.
Heather has written and performed two solo shows, the Narcissist Project, for Shoreditch Town Hall and Memento Mori for Vault Festival 2018. Heather is passionate about teaching and works as an acting tutor and workshop leader, facilitating both professional, non-professional actor’s and community groups.
