Jo McCaffrey

Jo began her salsa journey as a student of City Academy in 2017, starting as a beginner and soon discovering a love for latin dance, latin music and the rich traditions and cultures that surround them. She is a vocal advocate for the power of learning to dance as an adult, without having had any formal training earlier in life.

Jo specialises in social dancing, and has become an advanced follower who dances regularly in both London and New York. She teaches Beginners and Improvers levels for City Academy with a focus on solid technical fundamentals, having as much fun as possible, and embracing the joy that creativity and connecting with others can bring to everyday life.
