Swing Dance courses

Jo Pickering has studied tap and acrobatic dance since the age of three, and is now a Dance Leader in the Community for Camden Council.

Whilst teaching English in South Korea, Jo discovered Lindy Hop and honed her swing dance skills. She has performed with Rawhead Dance Theatre, and in film and television including Piccadilly Jim, Vera Drake, and Blackpool.

As a highly experienced swing dance coach, Jo has taught dance for organisations including Glastonbury Festival, Camden Council, Swing Dance UK, and The Bees’ Knees Swing Dance Troupe in America.

Her swing dance classes have a cool and relaxed style with an emphasis on fun! She loves spreading her love for Lindy Hop.
