Kash Khan

Kash is a Director of Photography based in London. Her lifelong love for films and the moving image caused her to leave behind studies in law and pursue camera department work in the film and TV industry. This journey has led her to shoot a range of TV shows, dramas, documentaries and commercials. She is inspired by films, poetry, landscapes, photography, humans and trees. Her aspirations are to continue shooting great stories with an existential touch and generate empathy with audiences through her images.

Kash’s drama, documentary and live TV work includes productions for Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC, Channel 4 and National Geographic. She has completed a range of commercials and branded content for brands such as VISA, Mercedes, RAF, Nike, Tiffany & Co, Amazon and Green Chef.

Having been inspired by film history from a young age, Kash is passionate about using examples from cinema’s great movies to inspire and creatively support the teaching of practical filmmaking at every level.
