Katherine Hare

Katherine Hare teaches singing lessons for City Academy and runs our all-female choir, The Songbirds.

She trained at Hull University Guildford School of Acting and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

As a highly expereinced singing coach, Katherine’s classes are a mixture of technique and repertoire and she uses a variety of material dependent on the strengths of the group. Her particular focus is musical theatre as this is the field in which she works professionally. Katherine is a theatre director and always likes to approach singing from a performance perspective using Estill terms and acting techniques to help students gain confidence in their singing. Kat currently works as International Associate Director for Tina The Musical and her West-End credits include Bat Out Of Hell, Sunny Afternoon and Our Boys.
