Khaoula Karaweigh

Khaoula Karaweigh is a London-based multidisciplinary artist and designer. Trained as an architect at the National School of Architecture in Rabat, Morocco, she later pursued an MA in Painting at the University of Arts London (UAL), graduating in 2019. Her studio practice focuses on acrylic painting, drawing, and installation, exploring themes of immigration, cultural identity, trauma, grief, and motherhood.

Her work has been exhibited in Morocco, England, and Croatia and is part of numerous private collections. Alongside her artistic pursuits, Khaoula works as an interior and commercial stylist and set designer.

She has a passion for art education, having founded an art club at her university in Morocco where she taught painting and drawing her younger students, and continues to tutor privately in London.In July 2024, she debuted her curatorial practice with a show on motherhood and infant feeding, staged in Lisson Grove, London.

Khaoula is also the founder of The North African Art Club, a network fostering collaboration, support, and dialogue among creative professionals of North African descent.
