Lakshmi Khabrani is a theatre practitioner, researcher, professional actress, director and teacher. Together with her MA in Actor Training and Coaching from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Lakshmi has studied Acting, Circus, Photography, Film and Capoeira.
Her theatre research has led her to develop a way of teaching physical theatre, drawing from different practitioners and Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art, a method she has taught at Rose Bruford College.
Lakshmi has worked as a drama coach as well as an actress for international theatre companies, playing lead roles in plays such as The Tempest, Yerma, The Tricycle or Henry V.
She has credits on TV series in Spain and the Feature Film El Próximo Oriente (The Near East), nominated for 2 Goya Awards (National Awards).
