Lukas Poischbeg

Lukas Poischbeg is a German/American Performer and Educator born and raised in Seattle, USA. Lukas trained in Musical Theatre and Dance from the age of 10, including 6 years of intensive MT training. He studied at the University of Washington, where he received a Bachelor‘s Degree in Dance & Education as well as a Master’s Degree from the University of Roehampton. As an educator, Lukas has taught students of all ages in all disciplines of Dance and Theatre, working with an array of companies around the world such as Seattle’s Performers & the Evergreen School (USA), Tybas Dance Center (Hamburg), and Gravity Performing Arts (London).

His professional performance credits include A Chorus Line, Footloose Das Musical (Germany/Austria/Switzerland), Disney‘s Newsies, Legally Blonde: in Concert, and 9 to 5, among others. As a highly motivated Dance Teacher, Lukas strives to tailor each session to the students in the class so that everyone has an equitable opportunity to learn.
