Lyndon Ives began his film career working as a runner on several short films and features whilst writing for his own films. Following this, he wrote, produced and directed three successful short films in quick succession between 2003 and 2006. Since then Lyndon has been developing a number of feature films for his production company Penallta Films while working as a filmmaker.
His most recent short film The Verity has been featured in a number of international film festivals and Lyndon got the chance to work with some great people in the industry. The project he is most proud of is Don’t Leave Me due to the production process being relatively smooth.
As a highly experienced cinematagraphy and documentary filmmaking teacher, for over fifteen years Lyndon has been running a wide range of practical film courses aimed at beginners and professionals alike.
“My teaching style is very practical, I try to make classes as enjoyable as possible and hopefully the first thing the students would want to do after the course is make another film…”
