Miranda is an actress and acting coach with over thirty years’ experience. She trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama and has worked extensively in television, film, radio, and theatre, both regionally and in the West End.
Past roles include Kate in The Taming of The Shrew and Julius Caesar in an all-female production. Miranda has appeared at The Gielgud Theatre and the Mermaid Theatre, and in several regional theatres including The Royal Lyceum Edinburgh, Theatre Royal Windsor, Colchester Mercury Theatre and Liverpool Playhouse.
Her many TV credits include Coronation Street, My Hero, EastEnders, Wycliffe, Silent Witness, and Doctors. She has also had roles in several feature films such as Charlotte Gray, The Commissioner, Solitary, and most recently, the award winning The Imitation Game.
Miranda’s classes are designed to give students a thorough introduction to acting and to develop their skills. She aims to create a very inclusive atmosphere – where students can explore and learn in a supportive, fun and creative environment.
