Nana is a London based singer/songwriter who writes touching, alternative pop ballads showcasing her “grounded, mighty vocal range” (Earmilk). She has been dubbed “a stand out star in the night sky of music” by heavyweight 1883 Magazine.
Nana discovered her voice when she was 15 and moved to London at age 18. Through various open mics she discovered her ability to convey emotion to her audience. Back in Rotterdam, she studied pop vocals and songwriting at the renowned Codarts Conservatory. After graduating in 2018 Nana toured the UK, New York and The Netherlands.
Her debut EP ‘Morning Drops & Lemon Seeds’, released in 2021, was celebrated by three sold out shows at Amsterdam’s popular venue Bitterzoet, and received widespread attention from music press, including tastemakers like Clash Magazine, Earmilk, Rolling Stone India and 1883 Magazine. Its focus track ‘4 AM’ won 2021’s “Rotterdam Track of the Year” award and for the EP Nana has played numerous live shows on Dutch national radio stations Radio 2 and 3FM.
Next to being a performer, Nana is also a songwriter for production music companies like Sony and BMG and recently won ‘Best Pop Track’ with her track ‘Ready To Love You’ (under her pseudonym: Adriana Stone) at the Production Music Awards 2022.
Next to being a performer and songwriter Nana has also been a passionate singing and songwriting teacher for the past 5 years. She finds it most important students learn how to sing freely without any restraints, so their vocal can shine brightest and they gain confidence let their voice be heard and become who they want to be. She wants students to discover their authentic voice and let them be the leader of their own artistic development.
