They have been a part of the London improv scene since 2013, studying with Remy Bertrand, Heather Urquhart, and Deanna Fleysher, among others. They also perform in Neither, a twoprov show with Roderick Millar.

Rita’s solo play, Five Dresses I Never Wear (2023), was shortlisted for VAULT Five. Their stand-up comedy show, F*cking European, was selected for the Stronger Than Fear Festival at Theatre Royal Stratford East (2018). Rita also performed as part of Xpressia Festival (Liverpool ‘23) and Migration Matters (Sheffield ‘23) as drag king Janusz and taught several drag courses.

“My favourite part of teaching improv is having students surprise themselves and say ‘I didn’t know I could do that!’. When we embrace mistakes and stop pushing ourselves, magic happens!”
