A graduate of Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts (MA Musical Theatre Performance), Tom is a freelance actor, musical director and singing teacher working in and around London.
He works with people of all ages, predominantly secondary school age students, as well as professional performers and musicians, with recent professional clients receiving final round auditions for West-End productions. Tom offers lessons in the following: singing technique; audition technique; acting-through-song; song-writing; piano; music theory; and Logic-based music production.
Tom obtained a First Class Honours degree in Music from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2017. At Royal Holloway, he studied voice under Graham Titus, and Robert Greenhill. In 2018, Tom graduated from the one-year postgraduate course in Performance (Musical Theatre), at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, studying voice under Holly Aisbitt, Marco Morbidelli, and Martin Leberman. His first professional position after graduating was Assistant Musical Director for Aria Entertainment’s production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Aspects of Love’ at Southwark Playhouse; he has gone on to AMD and MD several productions including ‘Dogfight’ at Southwark Playhouse, ‘Brexit Stage Left’ at Above The Arts, Covent Garden, and ‘13’ at Cadogan Hall. Tom also appears as a performer and session singer, and in 2020 appeared as Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Al-Fresco Theatre), Various roles in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (Room 29 Theatre virtual production), and Ensemble in Roles We’ll Never Play (Turbine Theatre).
