Tracey Hammett

Tracey Hammett has been writing for BBC Digital Children’s Channels since 2000, working on several award winning children’s programmes. She regularly writes for radio and the theatre, as well as visiting schools to promote creative writing and poetry.

She has been a creative writing teacher for over five years and has been a tutor at Chelsea Young Writers since 2017. Her classes are relaxed and informal and everyone is invited to explore and share their ideas.

She also programmes regular events at award-winning London venues, providing a platform for spoken word artists, songwriters and musicians.
