Ughetta Pratesi

Ughetta Pratesi completed her dance training at Laine Theatre Arts, specialising in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary and Jazz, along with Musical Theatre and Drama. She graduated with a National Diploma in Professional Dance (Trinity College) and a First Class BA in Theatre from Guilford School of Acting (University of Surrey).

Ughetta has worked as a freelance dancer and choreographer in London and Italy for the past five years, during which time she has been involved in dance projects, theatre productions, music videos, short films and feature films.

She has collaborated with various artists from Central Saint Martins, both as a dancer and movement director, and has been involved in projects with Danish choreographer Sarah Louise Kristiansen for the past two years. Also a qualified ballet teacher, Ughetta works in dance schools in and around London.

As well as being one of City Academy’s mucial theatre teachers, she is also a guest teacher and choreographer at various schools in her native Italy where she often returns to run summer schools and workshops.
