Our Urban Contemporary workshop draws on the expressive, experimental principles of Contemporary dance and applies them to Urban dance styles.
On our dance workshop, you will be taught how to experiment with the shapes your body can create, using movement as a form of release. Using a catalogue of Urban steps and techniques, you will explore expressing these moves free-form before learning taught choreography, including phrases and sequences to add to your Freestyle practice.
Explore character, quality of movement and dancing without boundaries in this freeing workshop. Enjoy an emotional, as well as physical release from daily stresses in a safe and welcoming environment under the guidance of professional dance tutors.

No Venue
All City Academy tutors are experienced professionals from theatre, film/TV and performance industries. So whilst they're training you they may also be rehearsing for a West End show or working on a movie. We like that and we do believe it makes a difference in class.
