Led by renowned choreographer and dancer Jose Agudo, this unique course spans three months and encompasses an enriching blend of dance forms from the West to the East. Boundaries fade, and movement becomes an universal language. Embrace different traditions, and let the rhythm of diversity guide your dance journey.
Participants will delve into the rich cultural tapestry of Flamenco, Indian Dance, Martial Arts, Hip Hop, Acrobatics and Yoga in the Contemporary Dance context.
Throughout the course, you will benefit from José Agudo's extensive expertise, gaining insights into choreographic approaches that seamlessly fuse these diverse movement forms. Finish the course with a collaborative performance, allowing you to showcase your newfound skills and artistic synthesis to an informal audience.

Contemporary Dance
Unleash your artistic expression through contemporary dance, blending elements from various styles, encouraging innovation and creativity.
Flamenco
Explore the passionate and rhythmic world of Flamenco, delving into its intricate footwork, expressive hand movements, and emotive storytelling.
Indian Dance
Immerse yourself in the diverse traditions of Indian dance, incorporating classical and folk styles with a focus on mudras, expressions, and rhythmic patterns.
Martial Arts
Integrate the dynamic elements of martial arts, emphasizing balance, precision, and fluidity, enhancing physical control and spatial awareness.
Yoga
Cultivate a mind-body connection through yoga, emphasizing breath, alignment, and mindfulness, promoting flexibility and strength.
Hip Hop
Dive into the energetic and expressive world of Hip Hop, exploring various styles, from breaking, waacking and voguing to urban dance, fostering creativity and individuality.
Acrobatics
Jump into the discipline that involve balance, agility and coordination to create visually stunning and dynamic routines.

The Audition Process
Audition for free by submitting a short video.
Places for this popular course do fill up so we recommend sending in your audition video as soon as possible. Your audition video should be no longer than 3 minutes and should start with you saying your full name followed by a video of you dancing (any discipline).
This is an opportunity for you to express yourself creatively and for the tutors to assess your suitability for the course. Have fun with it!

COURSE LEADER
JOSE AGUDO
Jose started his career in Andalusia where he began performing as a Flamenco dancer. Slowly the world of contemporary dance became more visible as he worked throughout Europe performing with International companies.
As a rehearsal director and assistant choreographer Jose has worked on several creations for Akram Khan Company, including the 2012 Olympic Games opening ceremony.
Since 2008 Jose has done commissions for professional companies and Dance Schools around the globe. In 2017 Jose created Agudo Dance Company to keep his creative process.
